Hello, My grandfather, Michael Meketi painted "The End of the Trail" in 1970. He was born in Foster, PA in 1918 to Hungarian & Polish/Ukranian immigrants. He moved to Aurora, IL as a child & worked for the Burlington Railroad. He was a talented artist, painter, cartoonist. He loved the southwest & it was a common theme throughout most of his oil paintings. He also painted many religious pieces for area parishes. He passed away in 1987 - at his art gallery. If you'd like any other info please feel free to email me at [email protected] Regards, Jennifer Trudo

I was excited to see you had some information about this artist. He was my mother (Bonnie Johnson) uncle. (Perry's sister). I was looking for some art work from him. I would like to find a piece for my house. If you know of any artwork for sale, please let me know... thanks... Sondra Benson [email protected]
