English Pewter Collection of Silent Screen Star, Ernest Torrence

By Lbridger, 2 January, 2017
Description

Pewter collection belonging to the famous silent screen star "Ernest Torrence"

Ernest had one of the largest Pewter collections in England. He moved to the USA to further his career in the early 1900's bringing his collection with him. It has been in the Torrence family since.

Here is a picture of the collection and I will post more single pictures as well. Sold only as a collection.

The collection consists of 2 very large Challis Cups, plates, bowls, platters, pitchers, tankards, with glaas and also solid bottoms and everything you see in the picture.

The picture shows the Welsh dress which is also available displaying his pewter.

Ernest and his sone Ian Torrence are discussing the collection in about 1927.

If anyone is interested in purchasing this collection please contact me for more information.
