Description

I bought and paid very little for the following books at a garage sale:

E.P. Roe- Near to Nature's Heart

E.P. Roe- A Young Girl's Wooing

E.P. Roe- From Jest to Earnest

E.P. Roe-He Fell in Love with His Wife

E.P. Roe-Opening a Chestnut Burr

E.P. Roe- Miss Lou

E.P. Roe- An Original Belle

E.P. Roe- The Earth Trembles

E.P. Roe- Without a Home

E.P. Roe- Barriers Burned Away

They are in great condition and the front page is signed by "Ella Duckwall Christmas 1889 From G.C.S." along with another name below "Paul M. Prugh Bought in West Manchester, O May 1, 1943."

I will keep these books til the day I die, but I would love nothing more than to know the value of the books!

An Original Belle- this book fluctuates in price a bit but worth $45-$55

Barriers Burned away- I am stoked that you found this book- if it is a true first edition, you have something truly wonderful. The author and his wife wrote this book together, it is about The Great Chicago Fire- and a true first edition is worth about $90! If it isnt, the price drops significantly of course as with all books- to $20 for a copy from 1900. Great find, I've been keeping my eye out for it myself!
