Description the chest was brought to America by my great grandfather when he immigrated from Europe. Do not know date of his arrival. My grandmother was born in Chicago in 1904 so I know it was before that date.

These are generally referred to as " Hump top Trunks", they were mass produced Circa 1870-90. Values for them depend on condition and maker. In the rough they generally sell at auction for under $125.00. Lovejoy
