Description I foumd this set at a second hand market. It was just really beautiful and I purchase items to sell. I just want to know if there is any significant meaning to the set. Actually this set is fairly modern and of modest value, it's a type of lusterware that was popular after World War Two, a lot of it was actually made in Japan and exported all over the world. The market for mid century services like this is currently flooded, a result of the downsizing Baby Boom generation and clearances of theier parents estates at auction. We see comparable sets often selling for under $200.00.
