Description

Stoneware pot/bucket, blue flowers with border on front & back, blud flowers with no border on sides under knobs.  There's a rim where a lid might sit, but no lid was ever found.  Mark on bottom is blue with F. Winkle & Co (o in Co is faded), ribbon underneath with Byron in the middle, England on the bottom.  I have not found this mark for F. Winkle anywhere, but an identical item was sold at auction in England along with a pattern matching lidded chamber pot.

History Family came from England 1870, others visited early 1900's. This was stored in the barn and I've been using it as a plant holder. It's not chipped, spots in photos are because I haven't cleaned it yet.
