Description I am in posession of the microphone used by Franklin D. Roosevelt during the thirty sessions of the infamous Fire Side Chats. My Husband's Grandfather was the sound tech for NBC at the time and after the last session was conducted, Franklin Roosevelt gave it to him as a gift. The microphone has been handed down to us. It is very heavy (not sure the exact weight) and has the big NBC logo embossed on it.

Obviously, if this what you say it is, it could be priceless. The Smithsonian would be interested, I am sure. You will need some type of documentation.
