Fern-O-Grand Victrola

Appraisal complete
Description

Fern-o-Grand piano shaped stand up Victrola.  My grandparents bought it new around 1920. It used to work but the brass arm broke. It may just need a screw. The crank is on the side.  It has foot peddles.  Two panels open in the front.  It has a few places where the wood is chipped off but is still in good condition.

Sorry for the upside down pics. I couldn't figure out how to rotate  them.

The Fern-O-Grand Company,  was located at 212 West Central Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio, this phnograph made in the form of a small piano was made by them Circa 1920. They were not a terribly good phongraph, but their unusal cabinet makes them highly collectible, the last five we've seen go at auction sold between $550.00- $1750.00. A lot depend on the condition of the cabinet and the working components.
