I have two painting by C. Benolt. 

24 x 36 oil painting of vase and flowers was appraised for $150

36 x 48 raised oil painting of tropical fish was appraised at $14,000.

Luckily the seller wasn't familiar with C. Benolt and I was able to purchase the tropical fish oil painting for $3,000.  His raised tropical fish painting are rare so you might have a gem on your hands depending on it's size.
