Description
I have what looks like a fisherman painting on black velvet. It is very old, has been passed down from my in-laws, but has no date or signature. I posted a picture of the corner where a signature could've been but is no longer. It has some scratches/damage. It is 26.5" wide and 32.5" tall. There are no markings on the painting or on the frame on the back to give details of its age or origin.
I do know that some black velvet paintings were mass produced, but I haven't come across this one in my research.
