Re: Floral Egg Candy Dish

Hi, just wondering if you ever did get any information on this? I have a friend who has something very similar to what you described. It is a blue and white floral painted, 2 piece egg bearing a blue marking of an upside down 3 leaf 'clover' with the initials GSD in  the leaves. She was given it by her mother who worked for a German princess (approx 1940's) and upon finishing her service for the princess was told to choose a gift for herself. We have no further information about it and have yet to trace the maker/origin.

I do believe your egg may very well have been made by the same person/company. So obviously we would also appreciate any information that anyone may have about it.
