Description
The metal seems to be formed from the back, but the front of the picture is in great detail. The scene appears to be either Greek or Italian. The frame looks like it is black washed walnut. Where the nails were put in the back to hold the metal in it has been scratched and in those places the scratches appear silver colored.Otherwise the back is almost black. The frame apparently had a paper back on it at one time because you can see the remains of darkened dried paper.I would like to know the age, the kind of metal it is and the value.
