Disregard date stamp on pictures. Not working on camera. Photos taken last week. I have NO IDEA about the history or origin of this easel and would love to know. Also, Grandma was born 1907 and in the photo I have with her next to the easel she looked about 30. It could have been in my family for years but I really do not know how old it is.

It certainly is a beauty, the style indicates it's a late Eastlake style piece with a mix of Art Nouveau thrown in, which dates it to the last quarter of the 19th Century. Good quality pieces like this one even at auction sell in the $600.00- $900.00 range.

Thank you for the explanation of the easel. I wish I knew how my grandparents acquired it. Would you be willing to take a look at some prints that were my great uncles from the 30's. Some from France. One is a Roy Best lithograph. I have no idea what to do with these or how much they could be worth. I have them on Facebook becuase th file was too large for emailing. Please take a look and replay. Link: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#!/pages/Carolyns-Collectables/121509711207099 This link comes from my facebook page under Ads and Pages.
