Free Treadle Sewing Machine

Description

the cabinet is in pretty bad shape - however the machine seems to be in workable condition if the belt was replaced. I'm interested in removing the machine and refurbishing the cabinet into a functional piece of furniture. However, if there is value in the machine as is, I wouldn't want to harm that.

Anyone have any idea whether this should be left as is or if it's in such bad condition that it's not refurbishable and I can go ahead with remodel plans?
