Description Vintage Free-Westinghouse buttonholer, in original box with small manila envelope containing parts: one screw, a thin, 2" long rod, and another fitting that screws onto something with holes for the rod. 4 buttonholer dies are included in the box, fitted into a cardboard holder. (There is also an addition original-in-box set of 4 buttonholer dies. This box is navy blue outside, teal interior.) The box itself is a felted material (faded to a pine-green color) with 'Free-Westinghouse Buttonholer' printed in silver. There is also a small circle shaped logo with the Statue of Liberty surrounded by the words, "Free Sewing Machine Co. Rockford, Ill USA". I also own the Free-Westinghouse electric rotary sewing machine installed in the wooden table, with original instruction booklet. I am assuming this buttonholer was for this specific sewing machine.
