This buffet is part of a set including a table and six chairs (2 with arms; 4 without arms) and a tall cabinet with glass doors. It has a veneer of what I believe is crotch mahogany. The drawers are all dove-tailed. There is a curve in the cabinet. It has a sticker marked "Rockford Furniture Company" on the top/middle drawer. The hardware is all original as is the finish (except for the top which was re-finished about 20 years ago). There are a few minor scratches on the bottom panel of the buffet but other than that it is in good condition. The table and chairs are in pretty good condition aside from some marks on the tabletop and one of the chairs has a piece of veneer chipped off. The chairs have been stained slightly darker than the other pieces to match the darker tw0-tone of the mahogany. The tall cabinet is in very good condition. It also has a curved bottom to it and dove-tailed joints in the drawer. Hardware and finish is original on this piece.
