I believe this desk was purchased new by my parents. I always remember it being around as a kid in the 50's and 60's, and I "inherited" it about 20 years ago when my mom moved to Florida. Now I have to downsize and want to know whether it's valuable enough to sell or whether it should just be given away. I saw the "Furniture by Tomlinson" label on the inside, and found a matching chest being sold in Chicago for nearly $5,000. Granted, the chest is much grander and looks to be in better condition, but I'm wondering if the desk is worth anything.
Any opinions?
