GE Monitor Top Refrigerator

Description

Hi all,

Today I came across an older couple in their 70's slowly selling off items from their auto machine shop they've owned and operated for over 54 years. We came across many items that were of value, but this one we can't put a price on. It's a GE refrigerator with a Monitor Top. All we know is the top was added in 1948, but beyond that I can't find a whole lot. It is in working order and keeps everything very cold. I have included the plate with GE markings, but I can't make out the serial number, only the model number, and the internet isn't so helpful. If anyone can help me put a general range on what the couple should be looking for, that would be excellent.

Thank you,

Cami
