Description

This is an unusual 1969 (?) General Electric Stereo Console.  It is 53" tall and 25" wide.  The clock and the speakers come out of the case.  The stereo and the turntable fold up into the case, which is made of solid wood.  It has brass pull-down handles.

It is a Porta Fi record player.  The label on the back has a serial number and model number and the clock has its own model number.  Even with all these number, I cannot find information about this stereo.  I have contacted numerous radio collectors with no luck.  All components work.  It is really a unique piece.

I would like to know if there is a name for this piece, besides a stereo console and I would like a value as well.
