This knife is used in the papermill industry today with all the same markings, dates and registation numbers. These knives are used to cut down paper reels and rolls by hand. The stanley knife has relaced this knife in many mills but these blades don't break and cause injury like the stanley knife. They come by the dozen and not very expensive.
