Description
This piece is a 98k bayonet made by fze (F. W. Holler) in 1943. It is an original matching set with the same maker, date and serial numbers (6080 l) on both the bayonet and scabbard. It also has its leather frog which allowed the soldier to carry the bayonet on his ammo belt.
The bayonet looks to be in very nice 'above average' overall condition with little wear, with no sharpening on the blade, and much of its original blued finish remains.
