Description

This dish was given to my parents-in-law in Stutensee, Baden-Württemberg, Germany (close to Karlsruhe) as a wedding present approx. 1945.

It is 34 cm / 13.5 in. diameter and 10 cm / 4 in. high.  It has a raised decor with grapes, grape leaves, and vines.  The glaze color is basically brown with beige and a light turquoise.  The decor is orange, blue and light turquoise.  It has three feet with holes in them, showing that the inside is hollow.  "1895" is stamped on the bottom (indented) and there are two brown marks , like little check marks, burned in the ceramic.

The piece is flawless.
