German Stein with Pewter handle/lid

Description

German stein purchased at an estate sale in early 1995.  heavy relief and scene depicting grape harvest. There are five figures, looks like a mother, father, two children and possibly a grandfather.  Grapes are focal on either side of the grouping.  Lot of detail. There is a band of fired high gloss navy beneath tInscription at bottom translated from German to English reads "A good drunk makes all young." Numerals on stein opposit handle are 1802. Stein measures 11.5" in height.
