German Violin

AI Appraisal
Description The violin is in excellent condition, though very well used as evidenced by the very slight grooves worn into the neck by the strings. I have had this item examined in a music store and was told that the nut (missing) can easily be replaced, as can the bridge and single tuning peg which is missing. With the minor repairs suggested by the music store, this violin can be made fully functional. The chin rest is engraved with "MADE CHOSLOVAKIA". Violin came with original case and bow.

History I know very little of this violin other than it was made in Germany in 1920 by one of a family of violin makers at that time.
