Gigantic Inverted Stained Glass Lamp

By Xenix, 2 February, 2010
Description

As said in the history, someone in the neighborhood put 4 lamps total out for trash when they were cleaning out their newly bought house. I love stained glass and couldn't stand to see anything like that get thrown away. This is the largest of the 4, at over 3 feet across at the widest point, about a foot and a half from rim to bottom and 10 feet around. Amazingly, the glass is complete and seems in original condition (a friend looked at it and said he saw no evidence of restoration) with only minor and barely noticeable cracks here and there. I don't really know anything about it (including what other information I could add to make it easier for all of you fine people to help me. :) so any details would be wonderful. Also, if there is anything else I can add, please let me know and thank you for your help.

By the way, I may want to sell this but I'm not sure yet (they didn't have an option for indecisive people in the "free classifieds" field.) Thanks again.
