History
I live in upstate NY and I found this jar along while walking in woods. I researched maker Louis Phillipe and have found that Louis Phillipe Inc. located in NYC was founded in 1911 by Louis Onesime Phillipe ( born in 1884 died 1959)he imigrated here from France. He sold and manufactured a nationally known line of Angelus & Incarnat Cosmetics and Toiletries. The business ended in 1930. Apparently he was famous for his lipstick product whish is now in a museum
