Description

Hi everyone...this is my first post and I am so happy to have found somewhere I can get information about the antique things I have....thankyou for your time & effort....

I am looking for any information on this glass Cup...I cannot find any info on it anywhere or I am not sure where to look for info such as:

  • When this cup was made, what time frame and also what its value may be if any.
  • The glass looks liked pressed glass & has a slightly pink glint in the sunlight
  • The seam runs aroound the middle as seen in the pic & there is also a seam running down the sides with one side seram running straight down the mddle of the handle.
  • There are indents Inside the cup where the outside handle joins the cup
  • The base is smooth and blurry & there is a slight indent in the middle

It is slightly soiled from age...dug up from being buried...but is quite good condition considering all the rubbish it was buried with...

Kind Regards & thankyou for looking

Amek

Re: Glass Tea Cup

It's most likely  a piece of "Depression Glass" made during the 1930's. It was made in hundreds of patterns, most of them have very modest values in the current market.

Re: Glass Tea Cup

Thankyou...I would have thought I could find others like this if lots were made in 1930's but I can't find another especially with the seam around the middle....cheerz
