I have a 1 troy ounce, 24k gold coin, minted in 2019 in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of women's suffrage in Wyoming. Wyoming was the first state in the US to allow women the right to vote. This coin was minted by the State of Wyoming's State Parks and Cultural Resources agency through an appropriation made by the Wyoming Legislature in the 2019 budget. There were 7 gold coins made. This one is number 5. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. The encased coin came packaged in a coin box with a white sleeve. On the sleeve it reads "05/07" written by hand.

The coin artwork includes the "Great Seal of Wyoming" on one (by artist Edmund A. Stewardson, 1983), and on the other "Breakin' Through" (sculpture by D. Michael Thomas, 2015, and line art by Julie Nighswonger, 2019). The coin was designed by Daniell Kirby, 2019.

The front of the certificate of authenticity has the Great Seal of Wyoming at the top and says "1 TROY OUNCE, 24k GOLD, 7 COINS PRODUCED" On the other side is artwork from the State Parks and Cultural Resources division, reading, "WYOMING, HOME OF THE WOMENS VOTE". Below that, it reads "In 2019, the Wyoming Legislature authorized the production of commemorative coins celebrating Wyoming's 150th anniversary of Women's Suffrage." Below that, it describes the coin artwork that I wrote about previously. On the side/rim of the coin itself is stamped "5".

Additionally, I also have two other coins like this gold coin as part of a collection. I also have a resolution from the United States Senate provided by Senator John Barrasso. The resolution contains his signature, the signature of the Wyoming Governor, Mark Gordon, and the signatures of the Representatives and Senators from the Wyoming Legislature, including my own (I served as a state rep from 2015 to 2021). While I'm not necessarily asking for an appraisal of all three individually, I thought it would be worth mentioning just in case this somehow adds to the value.

The additional coins include a 1 troy ounce, .999 fine silver coin of the exact same design. It is number 51 out of 750 produced. It is likewise in pristine/mint condition with its own certificate of authenticity. Lastly, I have an alloy coin, bronze in color, that also commemorates Women's Suffrage and was minted at the same time. The three coins were the only coins minted by the state of Wyoming, and make a trifecta of sorts. This alloy coin is also in pristine condition, but it is not numbered. I also don't know the exact number produced. I do know that each legislator at that time (60 in all) was given 20 of these alloy coins each, but there is likely more in addition to that. This coin is a little different. On one side it reads "LOUISA GARDNER SWAIN, FIRST WYOMING WOMAN TO VOTE" around the circumference, with a picture of Louisa and the date "SEPTEMBER 6, 1870". On the other side is reads around the circumference, "WYOMING HOME OF THE WOMEN'S VOTE 1869-2019," with a logo created by the Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources division.
