Underneath Table there is a tag that says "Important #1851, Grand Rapid Bookcase & Chair Co., Hastings, Michigan. Stock #9227, Suite #5704". Paper that came with the table says, "No. 247 Dining Chair, No. 247 1/2 Arm Chair, Tops and ends veneered with Walnut, fronts veneered with Butt Walnut, all chestnut cores. (there are 3 symbol after that which I'm not sure how to discribe) Mouldings, legs, posts, stretches, partition rails and all under work Solid Walnut. Composition ornaments...No exterior parts made from gum". Table has 2 extensions. Chairs have patted seats but it looks like they may have been redone.
