Okay, I have yet to come across anyone, even across the waters who knows anything about a WH Grindley Creampetal Dinnerware with gold trim set that I have and not even the name of it. I admit that this set is quite puzzling and apparently quite rare. The back stamp on the vegetable bowl states Pink Trillium.
I could only find plates in this pattern, which was only 2, and only in Australia. The asking price is $50.00 AU for 1 plate.
I have:
8 dinner plates, 2 teacup saucers, 7 teacups, (1 teacup has a couple chips on the edge) 8 fruit saucers, 8 fruit plates, 7 cereal bowls, 1 serving bowl, 1 serving plate, 1 sugar, 1 creamer. These pieces, besides the teacup, are in immaculate shape; meaning no scratches on any of the pieces and no gold rub off all of them either.
So, I need 6 teacup saucers, 1 teacup, 1 cereal bowl, a teapot or coffee pot and whatever other pieces to make the set complete.
In conclusion, I would like an appraisal on each item, a complete information on this pattern, and where can I find the missing pieces?
Thank you,
deerdarling

Also, what do the numbers mean on the back of the China piece?
Re: Grindley Pink Trillium Dinnerware 1954 -
I have items as well of same maker after research they are very rare and each piece can range from fifty dollars for a small item to a couple thousand for the set

Thank you so much for the information. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. Are there any books with a list and prices of Grindley China pieces? Why are there numbers on the back of the China?
