floor model, working and solid Grafonola is a combination hi fi am/fm radio and phonograph. The phonograph plays 33,45, and 78 rpm records. Guild Grafonola was manufactured by the Guild Radio and Television Corporation, Inglewood, CA
This item has working power cord and a handcrank on the side which tunes the radio to the desired station along with an illuminated dial on the top to show the fm/am station. The cabinet contains 2 large speakers which also work great giving you 3 speakers in all. The sound is actually pretty good and speakers in the cabinet can be closed when not in use. 8 wooden knobs in all. All knobs are solid and in very good shape. Knobs control bass treble balance volume am/fm radio/phonograph record speed stereo mono. The brass horn also works well. The only thing it really needs is a new needle. The needle it has now has seen better days, but still works. I have never seen one of these in this condition with 8 knobs. Legs are sturdy. Cabinet is very nice.
