Your desk is oak and dates from the turn of the 19th century from the look of it. Desks of this type were mass produced items used in schools, libraries and offices. They still survive in huge number, so values tend to be a bit modest for them. At auction these seldom go for more than a couple of hundred dollars, even if in very good condition
