My husband recently purchased this unique Rocking Chair. It's been hand carved and has very detailed and intricate detail. Can't find any markings but would like to know if anyone has seen something similar so we can find out approx worth.

It looks to be Chinese, but I've not seen one that matches this one before. You'd really need to get someone who specializes in oriental furniture. I'd suggest sending some images of it to Christies or Sotheby's. Here's some links:
