Hand Carved Wooden Elephant Chair

By Anonymous (not verified), 21 September, 2010
Description

I am looking to have this chair insured and was wondering if any one can tell me what they think it will appraise for?  This chair was hand carved in Africa and was shipped to the US. The chair sat in a place of business for a long time.  It was then given to my husband.  The chair is solid wood and is very heavy.  Please reference the pictures for more details.

Re: Hand Carved Wooden Elephant Chair

These are not rare, they are made for the tourist market and are still in production, we see them sell at auction for less than $200.00
