hand crafted religous art in wodden pic frame

By synergycivic96, 7 November, 2008
Description

I'm not exactly sure what to call it. But here are the details. The frame is a dark wood hand carved with leaves and flower 21"long by 17"wide. With a glass front. The inside is lined with a golden brown fabric all around sort of like a coffin. There is a picture in the center that looks like ancient Jeresulum or Israel with two followers of Jesus printed on what could also be fabric. Over the picture, is Jesus on a wooden cross. There are quite a few items on the cross (a drinking pitcher, grail, axe, ect). I'm not sure what they are made of. At the foot of Jesus is a tag or label that says "Thy Kingdom Come" 100 days indulgence each time plus IX 14th June 1877. There are two chips on the frame and appears to be very old. My Mother gave it to me as her Mother did to her and so on. We would like to know more about it if you could help or know anyone who can. Thank you so much.
