Description

Large asian, I think Chinese or Japanese vase. Hand painted, with lots of raised textures especially in the sharp lining. Extremely detailed, I have no idea how old it is. I found it in an old house I moved into a few years ago. It does have a faint marking on the bottom of the vase. Looks and feels authentic to the touch, but I am desperate to learn more about this piece, it's just so beautiful!

Category Asian Art
Medium I believe it's ceramic or some other pottery material
Distinguishing marks Has a marking on the bottom of the vase, attached a picture but the quality isn't great had to compress it to post. Definite artist marking though
Condition Excellent
Date Period No idea. Hoping it's at least 100 years old
Weight 22inches tall maybe 8 wide
History Found it in a very old house I moved into years ago. I know the family who owned the house were wealthy and owned a lot of land and travelled a lot. But I don't know anything about this vase and am dying to get some history on it
