hanging Humpty Dumpty figurine

By his_princess, 14 May, 2010
Description

This is a hanging Humpty Dumpty figurine. It has a gold loop in top of head with a small ribbon tied to it for hanging. He has a large smile with pink highlights on his cheeks, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, hands and legs. He has blue eyes and his eyebrows are lifted because of the smile. He even has forehead wrinkles, laugh lines around his eyes and a crinkled up nose. He is wearing a blue blouse, yellow vest, lavendar bloomers, and a pink bow tie with red polka dots. He is also wearing white tights and black shoes. I dont see any chips but there some paint cracking on front bloomers. The paint is worn off on the back around his waist in spots and there is a bit of dust/dirt in the nooks and crannys. It kinda has a handmade feel. Maybe some kind of clay? He is approx 3 1/4 inches high and 1 3/4 inches wide and weighs 2.6oz. I am including pictures but for whatever reason they came out slightly blurry and these were the best ones! Any help at all would be appreciated! I would love to know a time period, what it might be made of, artist, value, anything! Thanks!
