Description Purchased this at a 2nd hand store. Did a bit of research. According to various sources the backmarks mark H was used from 1888-1896 & mark c was used 1876-1878 & from 1889-1931. Would I be correct in assuming the dish is from some time between 1889- 1896? Near the backmarks there is a very light letter B impressed. Am intrigued to know anything else. The dish has a chip on the right side, which you can see in the photo. I have tried to ID the pattern but haven't been able to.

You can never be to thin or own too much Limoges. That said the identification of Limoges is often performed by a "schleiger number" if there is one. Additionally very old pieces might not be of a decal patterns where there is a significant number of people looking to compliment a set. In fact if the pieces are old and hand painted the probability of finding additional pieces is very slim. "Lone Limoges" as I call them typically can command $10.00 if they are chip free, unstained, and have no hairline cracks or severe crazing. There is of course exceptions to "lone limoges" vases, boxes, and other items. But for a platter that generalization is appropo. Find the right buyer and do better than good for you. best of luck.
