Description
I got this chair to redo it but before I do i want to see how old it is. The rest of the chair is in great shape. Just the seat cushion needs to be redone. It looks like the cushion has springs with a small feather cushion on top. In between the springs it looks like it's stuffed with burlap and some sort of black stringy type stuff. The upholstery is nailed in with small round nails. The joints of the chair are in place with wooden pins. The chair doesn't have any markings that I can see without taking off the cushions. I'm not good with woods and stains so I'm not sure what it's made of. But it is very heavy. The upholstery makes me think 50's or 60's but I know it could've been re-upholstered. Any info would be great.
