Description Hello, Ive been searching for info about Henry M Goodman furniture co. All i know is that he was based in Chicago and started in 1934. The reason Im asking is I have a mint condition China Cabinet and matching hutch that was made by him. Both beautiful pieces of furniture, just trying to find more info about him and if his work is worth anything these days. Thanks alot

Goodman himself did not make this piece, the company like many from the 30's onward mass produced furniture much like was done on auto production lines with hundreds of workers. This one is in the French provincial style popular during the late 1950's to mid 60'S. There is currently very little demand for furniture in this style, at auction comparable cabinets often sell for under $500.00.
