Description

Amilcari Santini statue of Hercules fighting the bull of Crete one of his 12 trials. Originally purchased around the 1950's by my father's friend in Italy. My father received the statue in 1976 when his friend past away, and I got the statue in 1998 when my dad passed away.  That's all the personal history I know of the statue. I have looked on hundreds of sites regarding Amicare Santini and similar statue makers and haven't found anything regarding this particular statue, but all of the information I have been able to find points to Amilcari Santini and the signature seems to match
