High Back Wooden Chair - Round Seat

By Cheeseheadhunter, 23 February, 2011
Description

This chair was handed downin the family and to the best of my knowledge came from MN grandparents who must have had it in the early 1900's.  Unsure if it's American or Eurpopean.  39" tall and seat is 20" diameter.  Wood appears to be mahogany.

Re: High Back Wooden Chair - Round Seat

Chairs like this date from the late 1890's to World War One, they are generally American made. Values for them vary  agreat deal, I've seen them sell for as much as $350 and as low as $50.00.
