I would like to know the value of this chair. I assume it was made in the early 1900's.
According to the label (still attached) it is a High Point Bending and Chair Company
Hitchcock Chair. Manufactured in Siler City, North Carolina. I cannot make out the
model number or type of wood, which I undestand would have been included on the
tag. The wicker weaved seat is in very good condition as is the chair itself. The wood is
dark, maybe walnut, or mahogany. Thank you for your assistance.
