Hoosier Cabinet

Hoosiers were hot items during the 1980's- 90's, but are now not near as sought after. They peaked in value for a really good one in natural oak finish in perfect condition at about $1800.00, the painted variety from the late 1920's were not near as sought after. Today a painted or metal Hoosiers at auction might bring $300.00 on a good day.

I have an old Hoosier cabinet that i want to re-furbish, anyone that has tried this please let me know how you did it and kept the patina and everything about it as close to the original as possible.   Thanks :}

I work in a furniture/ consignment store, and I have seen the ones we have go for $350-$425
These were also the white painted ones
