This item is called a Hoosier Cupboard and was used for mostly baking. I've attached photos of the ACTUAL item at my mothers house and "stock" photos of the item so you can see it better.

Hoosiers were hot items during the 1980's- 90's, but are now not near as sought after. They peaked in value for a really good one in perfect condition at about $1800.00, now it is possible to pick a oak example up in restored condition at auction for under $500.00.
