Description

    I acquired these two paintings from a deceased candy maker. it came in a lot of furniture and home decor which was at auction and I won the bid at $150. I put these paintings on my kitchen wall and forgot about them. Months later, in a fit of boredom I researched the artist online and was shocked to find that Howard wasn't an amateur.

    They are oil on wood. they measure approximately 24 1/2" X 7 1/2" with something of a frame which raises the painting off the wall 1 3/4". the signature says "Humbert Howard '60". Attached are two photos of each painting: the signature and the front of the painting.

    Personally, knowing what they are worth is just a bit of curiosity. So, in another fit of boredom I came across your page while searching for free appraisals. I would really appreciate it if you could give me some info about these paintings or at least point me in the direction to learn more about them. I may sell them afterwards.
