I have quite a few Hummel Music Boxes; with that said, here is the first one mentioned:
There is a Cert of Authenticity on all the boxes. This particular Music Box is from the Ardleigh Elliot collection, 4th edition (2003), Berta Hummel Holiday Happiness Illuminated Music Box Collection. Cert specifies that the collection is strictly limited to a maximum of 95 firing days.
The musical tune: Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
The certificate also specifies that the box is hand numbered.
THIS IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION! (KEPT IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKING, AND ONLY BROUGHT OUT IN DECEMBER)
There is a switch (under the cover) that lights up the lamp post. (batteries not included) On the inside is what you turn to make the music play!
The figurine is: a little girl with a black dog on a sled with presents
Height approx. 5 1/4" ~ width of the base approx. 4" !
The music boxes were only displayed during December, and put away by January. Always protected in its original box and package materials.
My mom passed this year, I wanted to hold them, but I might have to leave the place my mother intended me to stay at.

Limited edition collectibles of all types and demand for them have fallen through the floor since the late 1990's, Hummels included. The music boxes from this series right now often list on Ebay for less than $50.00.
