Re: Hutschenreuther Selb china

Have you learned anything about this china?  I have just inherited the same pattern from my family and am also trying to learn about the name and any possible replacement pieces.  Thanks.

Re: Hutschenreuther Selb china

I have China just like this.  It was my husband’s grandmothers.  The pattern is named Vernon and was made my the Hutschenreuther Company in Germany.  It was started in 1814 in Germany and when Two brothers inherited the company one brother moved his part of the company to Selb, Germany.  That is why you see the mark “Gelb” on some and “Selb” on others.  Hope this helps.
