Description

I purchased this beautiful china tea set in 1966 from a little German Shop in Schweinfurt, when I was overseas.

I would like more information on it and also would like to sell it. There are numbers on the bottoms of the china, mostly the number 22 and also a number 4.

NEW INFORMATION: I just found out more information.

Pattern: 9710 by HUTSCHENREUTHER [HUT9710]
Description: CLASSICA, PINK FLOWERS
Pattern #: 9710

I believe this is a rare pattern from Hutshenreuther that was made at least 50 years ago.

They are all gold rimmed and most have a lion on the bottom with the word Germany underneath. Some have a line under the lion and some of the lions are within a circle. Some have LHS, but all have Hutschenreuther/Selb. Some also have the German capital letters HR.

They all have some kind of really pretty pink flowers on them. This set has been wrapped securely since 1966. I have no use for it and would like to see what it's worth. I've included a picture of some Hutschenreuther symbols I found online.

I would like some information if anyone has any.

Thank you,

Cat

Currently the market for 20th century dinnerware is very weak, the market overloaded due to the downsizing of the baby Boom generation and the estate clearances of their parents. Most sets like this now often sell for under $200.00.
