Two hand etched german beer steins over 200 years old. one from 1780 and another from 1804. The one from 1804 has the initials HM etched on the lid , as well as the date, 1804, with a long german saying on the stein. It is detailed with some type of flowers along the entire outside of the saying. the saying reads: gottlichen segen wiicklihe zeiten wiintiche ich von hertzen eich dll en beiten. Its fancy writing, kind of hard to make out. The other stein dating 1780 has the name johann michael epenhom etched on the top with the date 1780, and a family crest of some sort. Under the lid are 3 seals from whomever crafted it. the marks on the lid from 1780 and 1804 are different. the marks from 1804 , have 2 that look like moses, haha, and the middle one has a female figure with the date 1768 on it with the letters GAK. The marks that are moses looking have the numbers 4 and 0 on it. Ill include pictures ... email at [email protected] with any details, i know the marks under the lid are hard to see in the pictures, but any extra info helps! Thanks
